I'm struggling with a problem, which I cannot narrow down by browsing the forum or the debug log. Until recently, users were able to reliably connect to and communicate via Kerio Connect's instant messaging service using IM+Pro7 on IOS 9.0.2 or iChat on OS X 10.10.5.

Unexpectedly and unpredictably, in single users (group A) all other users (group B) marked as ‚offline', although both group A and B users are verifiably connected to the instant messaging service. As before, group B users see group A users as ,online'. Messages send by group A users to allegedly ‚offline' group B users are delivered flawlessly. Group B can reply, but these replies are not delivered to group A.

The only other remarkable other problem is a new error message, i.e. 'FullTextServiceImpl.cpp: Full text service ended with code: 143', which occurs after reboot of the entire server, but not after restarting Kerio Connect services. May be that both problem are related to each other, since Kerio Connect changed to Java 8 in the last release in both full text and instant messaging services.

Has anybody an idea how to narrow down this problem?

Hi pillar,

Please contact our Technical Support. You can speed things up if you:

1. enable Instant Messaging debug log & if its possible also restart the whole server
2. let the "undelivered message" happen (group B reply to group A)
3. provide zipped store/xmpp/logs folder along with server debug, warning and error logs
4. provide mailserver.cfg
5. tell us number of domains and number of users within

Thank you,
Tomas Skoda

For almost 6 weeks now Kerio Technical Support is incapable of providing any helpful reply, not so much as a rough idea how to solve the problem, quite apart from an actual solution. Upgrading to version 9.0.0-291 did not solve the problem.

Can anyone at all give me some support how to narrow down this problem?

Hi all,

we have the same problem:

'FullTextServiceImpl.cpp: Full text service ended with code: 143', which occurs after reboot of the entire server

Have anyone an idea, what can help?

Thanks

Hi Vladimir,

This problem has never been resolved, even with the completely unhelpful support of KERIO. In fact, the error is still there. By rebooting KERIO CONNECT only the error does not occur again.

Would you be so kind as to inform me if you found a solution?

Kind regards
