We have an iPhone/iPad connected to the same account via EAS that consistently prompts the error " Cannot get mail" Typically this error occurs when the devices awake from sleep-mode. The Inbox has close to 60,000 messages but the devices only download the 3 most recent weeks. I have removed and added the EAS accounts multiple times but it hasn't helped. Is there any area of Connect, or within the users mail directory that could be creating these errors? I have enabled the EAS Debug but haven't seen any clues for the error. Are there any other debug logs I should enable?

It is likely caused by a particular email, which is not handled properly by Apple Mail. Does it happen to other users too? Does it happen if you move recent messages to another folder than Inbox?
I recommend upgrading to 8.5.X version as we've added few workarounds for iOS-specific problems there.

No other users reporting this error. Is there a particular style of email that could cause this? ie: Meeting invite, Large attachments, zip, PDF, etc??

Moving recent messages to another folder is very unpractical due to the fact this person refers to old messages often, and is also our CEO.
