Hi,

We have just launched a new website. The site uses mailgun.org to send messages out in response to our clients messages, and it also sends a message to our admins whose accounts are on our Kerio server.

The problem is, the to header coming out from maligun has to have our domain (the one that Kerio deals with). So when Kerio sees an incoming message with our domain in it, it rejects it as spam. I have added custom rules for the malign IP and the to header, but the problem still exists.

Please help!

Cheers,

Paul

Paul,

Have you tried whitelisting the outbound SMTP servers that mailgun uses? You may need to keep after them to get a comprehensive list. Many services (like Constant Contact) have constantly updated lists on their web site, but sometimes need a nudge to update them.

I have an IP Address Group "Trustworthy Relays" that I use for whitelisting mail sources in the SpamAssassin, CallerID, SPF, Greylisting & Spam Repellant tabs.

I also have a Whitelist group, which is larger than the Trustworthy Relay group, and contains the Trustworthy Relay group that I use to skip Blacklist checks.

I think that you should be able to accept the mailgun messages by doing what I've outlined above.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Jon
