Hi all,

have a very strange one here. I am able to ping and browse the internet from our workstations but when i try to ping from the Kerio i get 100% loss.

i have checked the DNS forwarding and entered the google IP's as custom DNS but still nothing. have checked the rules to see if there is something blocking the Kerio but nothing.

then internet connection comes straight into the Kerio so there is no router or switch before hand. we are using Kerio software version 8.6.2 i believe.

have rebooted the box but still unable to get the Kerio to see outside onto the net. i am unable to update the Anti-Virus and for some reason the web filters have stopped working also.

anyone with any possible solutions to this problem would be greatly welcomed.

thank you Smile

Seems like the firewall itself is not allowed for internet traffic...

Hi Dukeman, yes and wont allow DNS forwarding either. i have checked the rules like traffic etc but i cant see where the Kerio is blocked from accessing the net. I can ping external net IP and browse no problem even though the Kerio itself seems blocked.

By default there is a rule called "Firewall traffic" that allows traffic from the firewall to any destination for any service. Have you removed or modified this rule? I think Dukeman is right, your traffic rules are not permitting traffic from your firewall.
