Hi
It has been asked but i found no answers.
I want to implement an auto injection of a reference to an email's subject.

The scenario is:
User writes the email on his client then presses 'send'
Server gets the email, checks the subject and change it by adding a reference like '{Ref:20150108}'
Then the server sends the email with the new subject.

How can something like this be done?
Actually i want to go a little further by adding the users's initials in the ref plus the number of the emails that the user sent during the day. I also want to insert in the ref the initials of every word in the subject.

So if my subject is
'How to add a reference' i want my new subject to be
'How to add a reference {Ref:AS:20150105-23 HTAAR}'

Any suggestions?? I have already implemented this with vba in an outlook client by i want a centralised solution provided by the server.

Thank you in advance.

You can do this with the new message filtering feature in version 9 (currently in release candidate). You can read more about the feature in our knowledge base. http://kb.kerio.com/1831

Thank you for the answer.

Although it is not clear as to what the abilities of the filtering will be.
I guess you refer to the 'Change Header' action on the receiving rules.
is there any more information regarding on what kind of changes i can do to the header and what kind of information i can inject?

thank you in advance

Thank you.

Only problem is that the way you inserted it this is a static text insertion.
I want a dynaminc text to be created and inserted.

The fields would be (for example)
{Ref:[USERINITIALS]:[DATE]-[NUMBEROFMAILSSENTINDAY] [INITIALSOFEVERYWORDINSUBJECT]}'

So as you can see i have to run a procedure that will produce this text and then inject it in the subject. Is there a scripting language i can use or a way to call my own procedures?

Thank you in advance.

There is no scripting option in the new message filter.

So,
there is no other way to accomplish the requirement i have? (maybe via programming or something)
At least is there a list of the header parameters i can use in the filter (like ${subject}) ?

thank you in advance
