We seems to be having issues with KOFF when it creates a new profile since version 9. In control panel it shows that the profile exists and the email account tests OK but Outlook gets stuck at 'loading profile'.
An error gets logged in Windows:

So far the only way I can seem to fix it is to uninstall Outlook connector then reinstall and reboot.

No, it is not a known issue. KOFF uninstall is necessary after update from OL2010 (or older) to OL2013 and newer, however it is not because of crash of KoffBackend.exe.
Sometimes update of KOFF is not finished because some files are kept opened by Windows Search. Crash is possible in such situation, nevertheless computer restart should help in such case.
