Hi,

I currently experience the following issue (Kerio Connect 8.5.3):

Several users had mobile devices (Blackberries) managed via the BES server. This system does no longer exist, and the devices have been changed to use ActiveSync instead.

Using the List Mobile Devices in the user management page, I can see the devices for each user, but can't remove them ("Use BES Server to manage Devices" is the message I get).

How would it be possible to delete those entries centrally, to avoid bothering the users?

Thanks !

Kind Regards,
Andreas

Find *.bes file in store/<domain>/<username>/#sync directory and remove this file (eg. 5b1433aa51d192d7cf1e74fd5d19c9e9.bes). No need to stop server for this.

Content of the file is like:

<DeviceInfo>
   <DeviceId>20CE65A1</DeviceId>
   <DeviceType>v5.0.0.1079</DeviceType>
   <UserAgent>9000</UserAgent>
   <SyncVersion>BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0.4.11 </SyncVersion>
   <FirstSync>3599</FirstSync>
   <LastSync>3599</LastSync>
   <LastDeviceAddress>3232246897</LastDeviceAddress>
   <FileVersion>0</FileVersion>
   <FolderLastList>1436118747</FolderLastList>
   <TimeStamp>1436118749</TimeStamp>
   <SyncFolders>
      <SyncFolder>
         <FolderName>INBOX</FolderName>
      </SyncFolder>
      <SyncFolder>
         <FolderName>Sent Items</FolderName>
      </SyncFolder>
   </SyncFolders>
</DeviceInfo>

Hi Pavel,

thanks a bundle !!

zap - gone !
(Renamed the three files for a test, will delete them later)

I knew it was easy, but missed the information about the file name and information. That's what I like with Connect - it's based on config-files, no on crappy databases or binary stuff one can't access.
As I said - I like this: You simply juggle some files, and the work is done.

I assume the .ASY files in the same directory are the ActiveSync connection links ?!

Kind Regards,
Andreas

PS: I really like this kind of support - fast and efficient !
