We're running Control under HyperV at various sites and we've only ever allocated a single virtual CPU for the VMs. However, we are seeing some very high CPU loads at times.

Will Control properly handle multiple CPUs and take advantage of them, if I add more? What is the limit (if any)?

Thanks

Kerio Control can use multiple CPUs to get better performance with Antivirus and IDS/IPS.

There is no limit for number of CPUs. I'd recommend minimum of 2 vCPUs and 4 vCPU for max performance. Adding more won't make a difference.

That's good news. Thanks. I don't know why I didn't expect it before, to be honest, but it is good to know. I'll look to upgrade the VMs

Thank you for your swift response
