Hello everyone

I have a problem with Kerio Control 9.0.0 build 442, installed in VMWare 5.5.

We were working without problem for the last time, but in the last month started the problems without apparent reason, since modifications were not performed in the configuration.

For some reason stops the internal communication with the Kerio, and users can not access to internet, not responding to any ping. After a while (5 minutes approximately) returns to work again, and you can access the internet and responds the ping. This is repeated continuously.

Check by installing the original version with which we were working (Kerio Control 8.6.0) And this also happens.

I would appreciate your comments.

Best regards

This sounds like a routing problem. Is it possible that you mistakenly added a default gateway to one of your local network interfaces?

Thank you for your response, Brian Carmichael

I commented that we have 1 LAN and WAN 2 balancing mode.

I have configured on the LAN:

IPv4
IP: 192.168.6.22
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: nothing
DNS server: 192.168.6.1

WAN1:

IPv4
IP: 10.0.1.20
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 10.0.1.2
DNS server: 10.0.1.2

WAN2:

IPv4
IP: 10.0.1.21
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 10.0.1.3
DNS server: 10.0.1.3

Best regards.

Your WAN1 and WAN2 are in the same subnet. They should be in different subnets. Also you are performing double NAT, which will cause other negative side effects.

Perform the modification on the subnet, and the problem still persists.

I would appreciate another suggestion, greetings.

>For some reason stops the internal communication with the Kerio
This happend in our client when somebody set on his computer the same IP address as KControl internal IP.
We had to use arpwatch and localize this PC.
