Has anyone else been having users encountering SMTP sending delays with their e-mail clients on KMS 6? Our users are using Eudora, Apple Mail, Squirrelmail, and Kerio WebMail 6, and we've encountered it on each client platform.

The server's memory/cpu/disk io is not bottlenecked

We're averaging about 5 SMTP connections under the "Connections/SMTP - 2 Hours" chart in the KMS admin console. We have blacklists enabled. I have debugging turned on in the debug log for SMTP server traffic and don't see any errors.

Anything else I can check here?

Kerio MailServer 6.7.1 w/AD
Windows Server 2003 SP 1
Dell PowerEdge 2850 (Dual Xeon 3.2ghz and 2 GB RAM)
~1300 users
~1000+ concurrent IMAPS connections
iPhone users
Outlook 2007 KOFF users
Apple iCal 10.5/10.6 users

Hrm, I disabled the blacklists and so far, in this short amount of time, no complaints. Are there some known issues in the blacklist functionality of KMS? It's still too soon to say "aha! the blacklists for sure!" but that's what its looking like.

Blacklists were also a problem for me. Looking at the logs I could see 'unable to locate xxxx in DNS' entries. Turning off blacklists cured this (as you stated). I turned them back on again today and it is working better, but there is a noticeable delay time for the message to be sent.

Surely the blacklists shouldn't be applied to outgoing emails?

Of course. Didn't think about that. Bug?
