One of my customers runs Office 2013 in Windows 7- 64 bit edition (in Parallels on a Mac, but that should not be a problem).

This setup worked fine for a few months, but now, each time the user quits and re-launches Outlook , the COM module for Kerio does just switch off, so she can't access the Kerio settings in the ribbon, especially Out of office, from within the app.

If I switch on again the module, it works fine... until she quits Outlook.

Any suggestion why this happens ?

Regards,

GG

There is registry entry for every Outlook plugin and it specifies if it should be started automatically with Outlook. Sometimes this info is set to incorrect value (typically when Outlook disables the plugin) and there is no method how to set it back from Outlook itself. You need to edit registry manually.

go to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\K offAddIn.UserInterface

or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\ KoffAddIn.UserInterface

In both reg keys should be DWORD values LoadBehavior and it should be set to 3. Once both are set to correct value, restart Outlook and Kerio Addin should load.
