Hi,

we're using Kerio on a mac server running El Captain on both, server & clients. Ports 80 and 443 are changed because an other app on the server needs 80 and 443.

When we try to setup a client using the 'Integration with Mac' option in the web client those problems occur:

- The installer ends without any error notice, but only the e-mail account is activated. All others (Calendar, Adresses) are not available.

- On machines with more than one account it is not possible to install the second account because the installer always contains the e-mail used for the first key - request.

Did you change the ports in Kerio Connect or on firewall? Make sure that port TCP 8443 or TCP 8800 is used in HTTP/HTTPS. These ports are used by CardDAV. Also check ~/LibraryLogs/kerio-connect-account-assistant.log file.

That's because Safari caches your login credentials when accessing the integration page. Close Safari before downloading new tool for another user. Just a notice - on El Capitan the tool can configure only one profile (account) on Mac due to the way how Apple apps are designed. To use more accounts on a Mac all additional accounts need to be configured manually - http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-connect/email-clients/mobi le-devices/manual-configuration-of-caldav-and-carddav-accoun ts-1327.html

I would suggest that you not run Kerio Connect on a server that is also running other services that need the same ports that Kerio Connect needs. This will always be an issue for you. It's best to have a completely dedicated server for Kerio Connect. I have managed a lot of Mac servers running Kerio Connect, and I have had the exact same issue that you are describing. For me, the best long term solution was to stop trying to make the server do multiple things. This is best for the users too. Should you need to take the server down for repairs or maintenance, the users won't have to deal with having ALL services down at the same time.

I agree with Think Fixed. It is always best to run Kerio Connect on a non-server Mac.
Or to put it another way it is always best to not run any other server applications on a Mac set up with OS X Server!
However, if this is simply not possible to move Kerio to a separate machine immediately, I have developed a method to show how Kerio Connect can co-exist with OS X Server using Reverse Proxy. The Tutorial is in the Tutorial section of the RAIS page at: http://rais.precursor.ca.

In the long run, you're better off moving this setup to Kerio Cloud, or another Kerio hosting provider. You'll have better reliability, and a much better anti-spam service.

Yes, but not everybody wants all his emails/contacts/calendar hosted in a different location/country where you have no oversight who is accessing your data.

But I agree that you should not host Kerio on a server that is already running another web server on the same ports.

I'm familiar with Kerio's cloud hosting setup since I used to work with GetSync'd. It's very secure. Kerio would be really stupid to not have it secure.
