Hello,

I need to allow anonymous SMTP Submission for incoming mails on my Kerio Connect mail server (version 9.0.1 if relevant).

What I got here:
  • Server A: My mail server running Kerio Connect
  • Server B: Another mail server running David.fx (located in a different network, none of my business)

For example, if server B wants to send a mail to server A via SMTP Submission, Kerio Connect denies the mail returning that authorization is required.

Then, I created the dummy user account called "foobar" inside my Kerio Connect (server A) and provided the login information of that user to the administrator of server B. He added that to the authorization settings for SMTP Submission inside his server. After that it worked, of course.

Now, server B should be able to send server A mails via SMTP Submission (tcp/587), but anonymously (without providing any login data).

How can I set this up?

Thanks in advance!

No, it cannot. SMTP Submission requires authentication by definition. Use port 25 in such case.

Hello, Pavel!

Wow, thank you for your fast reply! Surprised

I see, so I will keep the dummy user (or create a new one with a name that makes more sense) for that purpose.

Thanks again!
