Hi there...

i have the following configuration:

SIP A:
max. 4 lines

outgoing configuration:
Prefix: 0
Use route only for numbers defined in exceptions
 extension external-number
    10 0
    11 0
and so on...

SIP B:
max. 2 lines

outgoing configuration:
Prefix: 0
Use route only for numbers defined in exceptions
 extension external-number
    10 471
    11 471
and so on...

Now, if 4 calls are active on SIP A (in and out), operator does not use SIP B for outgoing calls.
I only get an "temporarely unavailable" error on the phones.

Do i have to change the settings on the SIP interfaces?
(incoming calls on SIP B does work without problems.)

Hi,

a similar configuration works fine for me. Please make sure that you can make outbound calls using the B interface. Change the order of the two routes and make outbound calls.

i have tested this:

it seems that outgoing calls do not work with that interface... but why... can i troubleshoot that case in any kind?

incoming calls are working without any problems...

A typical cause is an invalid From or To header in the outbound INVITE packets. You probably have to review your outbound routes configuration.

Make a packet dump and analyze the outbound INVITEs. You can also find the INVITEs in the asterisk detailed debug log. To figure out the correct values, it works best to make an inbound call and use it to learn the format of the numbers.
