I just setup the Kerio Control VPN client for OS X (Version 9.0.0 Build 442) on a few workstations in my organization. Everything works great but we are seeing a lot of network traffic from the workstations that have the VPN Client installed. When I review activity monitor on the workstations KVpnClientStatus and KVpnClientAgent are each constantly sending around 5MB and receiving around 8MB. This is occurring when the workstations are with our network and not connect via the VPN client.

Is there a way to stop this traffic (aside from un-installing the client) and what is the reason for this?

If you have the client set for persistent connection it will stay connected to VPN even while inside your own network, you can set them as manual connections and turn them off while inside the network.

I could understand that being the case if the VPN was connected. However this traffic is occurring when the VPN is not connected and Persistent connection is not checked.

Thanks for the idea though.
