Hi there,

is there a way to use the "Prepend caller ID" function in an auto attendant script?

We have 15 extensions:

each external call is landing on a script, which redirects the call (on night mode) to a queue (lenght = 1), where every 15 extensions are ringing (day mode redirects to the specific extension).
Now the problem - next day, all phones have the missed calls, and nobody knows who get the call from external.


i don't really want to create a queue/ringing-group for every extension just for the "Prepend caller ID" function.
- this would need a lot of queue/ringing-group-extensions
- this would make the queue length=1 worthless


Maybe a feature-request?

Hi,

yes, the uservoice system is the right place to put it.

May I ask, would it help if the phones didn't indicate a missed call? It is possible to instruct the phones to not record missed calls when they are come from a Call Queue. I would like this feature to appear as an option in the next version.

No, they need the missed call on the phone, because they want to know who wants to reach them in the night Smile

now i think i could need this feature Smile

can you tell me a bit more about it? When do you think will you add this feature?

it should work with queues and ringing groups. the best would be, if you can set it for each queue/rg seperately
