I have a Connect server running on win XP 32 bits. Now I need to migrate it to a new server with Windows Server 2012 R2 64 bits. Is there a established procedure to do this as painfully as can be done?

Thanks in advance.

Restoring from a backup has always worked well for us. I've survived 2 migrations and used the kmsrecover tool in multiple test environments.
