In Status > Call Queues view, what is the definition of an 'abandoned call'?

I assume it is a call which does not end up with a voice or voicemail response, but please can you confirm.

A call is abandoned if it goes into the call queue and doesn't end up as a connected call.
As an example, a user calling in finds the wait time for the call to be answered is too long and they hang up the call before it is answered.
