Hi, this may be a dumb question, but i wasn't able to figure it out...
Is there a way to limti the number of incoming calls to a specific extension?
I have a clinet who has plenty of bandwidth/voip channels, so the main extension (the number listed on yellow pages) is bombarded with inbound calls. He wishes to limit those calls to let's say four, and then have a message sayng "our operators are busy at the moment"
can you tell me how can i do this.

Hi,

I think the best solution for your situation would be to use a call queue. Simply route the inbound calls to the queue and the number of customers you are able to serve at the same time depends on the number of active agents. The remaining callers will have to wait.

HI Vladimir, i did what you seggested, but it only seems to work with calls from outside, it does not with internal extensions, so the problem is only half resolved,
do you have other hints?
thank you
Sigfrido

Ok i got it Smile the extension to call would be the call queue and not the extension itself, never mind
thank you
