I want to control who/what connects to my mail server. (only company devices)

It is possible in exchange to require approval before mail can be synchronized with a device, is this possible with Kerio Connect?
We have users that are smart enough to setup their own mailboxes on private devices, I need to keep control of this.

Unfortunately it's not possible, Kerio Connect does not support this feature.
There are some workarounds:
- create user policy and do not allow ActiveSync for users without company device
- if your company use only some type of devices (e.g. iPhones), block another type of devices in mailserver.cfg http://kb.kerio.com/1307 - see logs what private devices are used.
- if your company uses some MDM solution, do not expose ActiveSync publicly and filter devices on access to your network.

Please log into your Web Administration console, and on the login screen you will see a "Suggest Idea..." button. This will take you to our UserVoice section, where you will be able to vote on existing suggestions, or add your own ideas.
