Hi,

Another service release of Kerio Operator is available. The change log for version 2.4.7 is as follows:

Kerio Operator Server
+ Improved call diversion functionality so that it is compatible with a greater number of SIP carriers.
+ When forwarding a call from another internal extension to an outside number, use the external number that corresponds with the original caller.
- Use a lower disk usage estimate when backing up logs - the original value was too conservative.

Kerio Operator Administration
- Fixed the DTMF sensitivity option - it did not stay checked when re-opening the telephony card dialog.

I believe that many of you will like the call forwarding improvement!

Vladimir

Hi,

Does this mean if an external caller calls in internal extension via DID and the call is forwarded to a cellphone, the cellphone will show the original caller's ID?

If so does it work via PRI?

Thanks,

ft.

Hi,

no, this means that if an internal extension (10) calls another internal extension (11) which forwards the call to an external number, the call will be routed with the number of the caller (10). This is mostly useful for trunk interfaces that map DID numbers to internal extensions.

The situation you asked about is already supported. The most commonly supported solution is by using the Diversion header.

Regarding PRI, there is currently no support for that.
