Hi!

I still got some Office 2003 running within my enviroment. Since this old version is out of date and not supported anymore by Kerio 9 I already got new Office licenses here. To have only 1 support date with these computers: My plan is to switch from Kerio 8.5 to 9.x and then manually update the old Office's and the new Outlook Connector Version.

-> Does the old 8.5 Outlook Connector still work with the new Kerio Connect 9.x version?

If not I need to update the old office installations first, then update Kerio Connect followed by updating the office offline clients.

I already turned off automatic updating the Offline Connector client since automatic updating does not work in many cases - I need to manually update it.

Thanks!

I asked KOFF developers and they told me that KOFF 8.5 should work without any problems with current Connect 9.0.x releases.

You should however uninstall old Office and KOFF before you install new versions (KOFF installation differs for each Outlook version).

Thanks!

But that answer will make my update process easier!

So I can...

1) Update my Kerio Connect to 9.x

2) Go around the workstations and there remove the old KOFF & Office 2003 and install both new versions.

Cheers!
