Hi there,

i have got a strange problem....

we use SNOM 720 Phones with BLF.

i found this: kb: http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-operator/configuring-phone s-devices/how-to-configure-busy-lamp-field-blf-on-snom-phone s-742.html

if i set
sip:20@{$OPERATOR_IP};user=phone|**

for the function key over the webinterface of the phone, everything works fine.

if i use the same string in the phone provisioning, every phone-led is black and blf does not work...
fkey3$: blf sip:20@{$OPERATOR_IP};user=phone|**

no change if i use the variable $OPERATOR_IP or the fix IP-Adress.

no change if i use
fkey3$: blf <sip:20@{$OPERATOR_IP};user=phone>|**

Can someone explain why it does not work with phone provisioning? - Bug?

Thank you

Hi,

it looks like a bug of the snom provisioning system. Please contact their support and/or use their forums to get further help.

Operator's template:
<html>
<pre>
fkey3: blf sip:16<_at_>192.168.12.91;user=phone|**
fkey4: blf sip:15@{$OPERATOR_IP};user=phone|**
fkey5: blf 12|**
ntp_server: {$NTP_PRIMARY}
timezone: BRA2-3

Operator's generated file:
fkey3: blf sip:16<_at_>192.168.12.91;user=phone|**
fkey4: blf sip:15<_at_>192.168.12.91;user=phone|**
fkey5: blf 12|**
ntp_server: 192.168.12.91
timezone: BRA2-3

Phone settings:
fkey2!: blf sip:14<_at_>192.168.12.91;user=phone|**
fkey3&: blf sip:16<_at_>192.168.12.91;user=phone|**
fkey4&: blf sip:15<_at_>192.168.12.91;user=phone|**
fkey5&: blf 12|**

fkey_context2!: 1
fkey_context3!: 1
fkey_context4!: 1
fkey_context5!: 1

The key 2 works fine, because it has been configured manually. Other buttons don't work even though their configuration seems to be the same.

the operator provisioning file is different than the real snom provisioning file, am i able to get the real snom provisioning file out of operator?

Right click the phone on the "Phones" screen and select "Download configuration".

i found out, if i set the fkey first in the webinterface of the phone, and then use the same fkey-command in the phone provisioning, then it works... can you check this?

To me it still looks like a firmware issue.

You can download the provisioning file the same way the phone does using:
http://IP/snom715-001122334455.htm or ftp://IP/snom715-001122334455.htm
