Hi.

We have an issue where if we have a call queue anywhere in our incoming routing for a number served by our ISDN 30 box once the caller hits the call queue they hear ringing forever even if the call queue member picks up the call. The member who picks up simply hears silence.

The error we get in the logs is (I've removed the Incoming number):

[14/Apr/2016 08:51:10] asterisk[3029]: WARNING[1057]: channel.c:5059 in ast_write: Codec mismatch on channel DAHDI/i1/075HIDDENNUMBER-215 setting write format to slin from alaw native formats 0x8 (alaw)

We don't have this issue when using ringing groups only call queues.

We also don't have this issue using our Voip interface. It looks like a codec issue but I'm unsure where to change codec settings for ISDN Interfaces, it seems not to be in the same location.

Thanks for the help

Hi,

it seems your PRI card is misconfigured. Please check the values for signalling, framing and coding. When the interface is first configured, the values are automatically detected. You may try resetting the interface and configuring it again.

Best,
Filip

Thank you for the quick reply Filip.

I'll work on this over the weekend.

Many thanks.
