Some of my users can't setup their Kerio Account with iOS devices (bad password). After some research, I figured out that some characters work (e.g. * or #) in passwords whereas others don't (e.g. $). I tried to setup the account as exchange not IMAP btw.

Is there a complete list of characters that can be used without problems, or do I have to find that out by myself? I'm using the latest version of Kerio Connect.

Thanks for any hints

Hi Lutzministrator,

What enabled authentication methods do you have listed in Configuration > Security > Enabled authentication methods?

Also try enabling 'User Authentication' messages in the Debug log.

To do this go to the Debug log in the web console (Logs > Debug), right click on the white space and select 'Messages...' and in the Auxiliary Modules section tick 'User Authentication'.

Reproduce the problem and when you are done be sure to deselect this option as it can cause your your debug log to rapidly increase in size.

All the best,
