We are starting to use the Polycom VVX phones to take advantage of all the available line appearances and use them as Busy Lamp Fields. Testing has uncovered an issue with Caller ID display, here is the scenario:

Extension 103: in the Ringing Group.
Extension 115: not in the Ringing Group, has BLF for ext. 103

A call is placed to Ringing Group.
Ext. 103 sees the call with the correct Caller ID.
Ext. 115 sees that ext. 103 is ringing and can pick up the call. However, the Caller ID information is missing - the display shows:

Incoming Call
To: 103(103)
From: 103(103)

When a call is placed directly to ext. 103 (no Ringing Group involved), ext. 115 sees the call with the correct Caller ID.

This appears to be a SIP signaling issue from Operator, specifically the Message Body of the SIP Notify.

Here is the pertinent section of the SIP NOTIFY with correct Caller ID:
