I have successfully integrated Kerio Windows into my AD by using the extension on my Schema master, and a suitable account. I can see the users, and select them, and add them to Kerio. I cannot, however, login with any of the domain added accounts. I've tried the AD domain, the email domain, and no domain on the user accounts. I know my user account is valid, because I'm logged into the server as that user.

What am I missing? I followed the KB article about connecting Kerio to AD. It's pretty simple and not a lot of options to go wrong on. There are no errors in the debug, warning, or config. They all indicate everything is okay dokey.

Thanks!

Had an issue exactly like this also hooking a remote user to a hosted Kerio Connect system, I know your not hosted but it may be related.

I was told it was because Connect was installed on a Windows box that was not part of the AD domain I wanted to sync. If your connect is installed on windows also is that PC part of your domain?

Right-click in debug log and enable Authentication messages. This should give you a clue what's going on and what may be wrong.

I set the debug log to show user authentication and active directory notices. I tried to login with an AD account, which failed. There is only these 2 lines in the log:

[09/Jun/2016 14:41:37][2056] {auth} Authenticating user sgarland<_at_>luh.com...
[09/Jun/2016 14:41:37][2056] {ldapdb} sgarland<_at_>luh.com: Looking up in cache...

Note, my username is "sgarland<_at_>luh.com". Which is a valid internal username. There are no errors, and no authentication allowed.

Do people trying the software get access to phone support? This is stupid. It doesn't work, so maybe we'll just move on.
