Hello,

I am new to Kerio Operator. A client has a Primergy MX 130 mini server
with an AMD Athlon II x2 265 CPU 3.3 GHz and 4GB RAM, disks are quite fast.

VirtualBox is running, OS is Windows SBS 2011 Essentials.

Given that we do not expect more than 3 or 4 concurrent phone calls, would you think Kerio Operator will work reliably on this server?

Thanks,
Philipp

Hi!

HW requirement you can find on http://www.kerio.com/support/kerio-operator (click the "Tech Specs" bookmark)

Your HW should be O.K. for your 3 - 4 concurent calls. You do not write which size of HDD you plan to use - you'll need enough space to save recorded calls, own language voce-propts (if any) and IVR messages etc. and HDD size depends on your needs...

Thank you, Martin,

this is very helpful.

I didnt write about disk space since there is more than 100 GB disk space available - I guess that should be 10x enough for 6 people, right?

In such a small setup (4 PCs on internal LAN/WiFi), would you agree that its reasonable to just put the SIP phones in the same internal LAN (and WiFi)?

100 GB is really sufficient for you. Smile

Also one LAN, common for PC and phones should be O.K. for you (hope that you are not some graphics/video studio with big data transfers).
