Hello,
anybody knows that in fail over mode, how Kerio Control checks for link connectivity? Means by pinging which IP address?

When you choose the load balancing option an advanced button appears. From this advanced option you define a "probe host". By default, Kerio Control uses the default gateway of the interface, however you may specify your own IP addresses. I suggest the DNS servers of your ISPs.
