Has anyone been able to get CUT/PASTE to function when accessing WEB-Admin Interface Logs in Kerio Operator?

The function works as expected in Chrome, Opera and Firefox on MAC, but Safari seems to be handicapped by Kerio.

Even a context list suggest "Command"-C.. which just results in the "thunk" and does not update the clipboard.

See attachments for the result in Safari Version 9.1.1 (11601.6.17) under OS X 10.11.5 (15F34)

Any suggestions? Thoughts? Solutions?

I've tried the "Open a ticket route" a couple of times, but get blank stairs and crickets when I describe the problem.

Jim

PS - Of note, the function DOES work as expected in the WEB-Mail interface, so it's probably something odd in the Admin console that is blocking "Command-C" from functioning as expected.

It seems to be an incompatibility of live log view component with WebKit rendering core used in Safari. We consider options how this can be solved. As a workaround just press Command-C twice (two times in a row). This should copy the text to clipboard.

What I do is to temporarily disable Javascript using the Develop menu (if you have it enabled in Safari). Then you will have the normal contextual (right click) options from the browser. The copy action in this menu works.

Wouldn't it make more sense to REMOVE the offending code that is blocking the functionality?

Interesting that Chrome and Opera both use variants of the Safari Webkit engine and have no problems.

Simple fact is that this has not worked for a VERY LONG TIME. This is not a new issue with Yosemite. It has been going on since the WebADMIN was developed eclipsing the old macAPP for Admin.

As Pavel mentioned, we are considering ways to solve it. Pressing Command-C twice is the simplest workaround.

Pavel... I just confirmed your suggestion and that is an OK solution, but long term... one of three solutions in order of preference:

1. Fix the issue.
2. Update the Context-Menu to say "Command-C 2x" instead of "Command-C"
3. Document the exception where it is easy to find. When I called in on this issue a couple of years back.. the suggestion was "Use Internet Explorer" and the ticket was closed.

One other note... the guys supporting Kerio-Operator should implement the same fixes... It is an issue there as well.
