I know where the Stream_Autocomplete dat file is held in the user folder. I'm wondering if I have to delete someones Outlook profile and setup a new on on their computer if this data comes back from the server or if it is a local file like the NK2 file used in Outlook 2007.

Anyone have info on this? I hope it's stored on the server but I have to make sure before I do anything with a the boss's computer.

Any news on that? I also have a user to move from webclient to Outlook, but he will only move, if it´s possible to get all manually typed in addresses from webclient to Outlook. How can I get Access to this address Cache?
Thanks Lars

The tool I use for Cache/NK2 work is NK2Edit from Nirsoft. From there you can import, export, add, and remove entries to/from the NK2 file.

What I would do in your case is get his address list and export it to a csv, then import into the NK2 file. The trick is you have to make sure the Stream_autocomplete file exists first or else Outlook will not recognize it.

Hi dmiller528

Thank´s for reply. It seems you misunderstood me. Im searching for a tool to backup/extract the autocomplete from kerio web browser email client. Im wondering, if this cache will be editable or exportable?

Because the user will move to Outlook, but has written many addresses in browser email client. If the user move to Outlook, the addresses will be lost?

Sincerly Lars

The autocomplete for web depends on your browser. Some do this with built in tools, others need 3rd party. Best bet is to Google for browser autocomplete editing tools. As far as autocomplete from the persons own address book, if that's what's completing the e-mail addresses then it's not a problem as Kerio Outlook Connector will sync all addresses.
