Hi,
I intend a setup quite similar to the example that Filip mentions in http://forums.kerio.com/t/19978/operator-behind-nat-amp-remo te-location-behind-nat

My question is:
If users have Kerio Operator softphone installed on their mobile devices - would it be possible to use it alternatingly in a NATted environment (WLAN at home) and in the Office (in same subnet as Operator), as well as in a public mobile network?

I thought this would be very useful, so that people can use their softphone wherever they are.
Or do I need to create different registrations for this?

If I check "Phone is behind NAT", is this bad if the phone sometimes is in the local WiFi?
(It is a small environment, WiFi has the same subnet, ie bridged.)

Philipp

Check the checkbox and use the softphone anywhere you want. The reason it is not checked by default is that some really old phones such as Cisco 79xx fail to work with the option enabled. Btw, if you use Kerio Operator Softphone, the option is checked automatically.
