We have Kerio Connect on an older Mac Mini Server.
We are planning to move Kerio to a new Mac Mini for a few weeks to upgrade our mac mini server to the lastest OS.
Are there issues with restoring the Kerio backups?
What would be the best way to do this?

I switched from an old Mac Mini to a new Mac Mini recently. Instead of restoring from backups I followed this document:

http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-connect/server-configurati on/export-and-migration/transferring-an-installation-of-keri o-connect-to-another-server-or-operating-system-360.html

Are you upgrading the version of Connect at the same time? I needed to do this and I think I had to download an older version of Connect for the new computer to match the old one. I then upgraded the software after the migration work was complete. I used a suport call and someone at Kerio was very helpful in verifying stuff was done in the right order/versions.

I hope it goes smoothly for you.

hth,

ft.

what ever you do, make sure you DON'T install the Server App!!

These days you need to run Kerio Connect server on a "normal version" of OSX
