All,

I'm trying to get the chat function working on cross-domain level.
Now with the chat function within the Kerio Connect Client, it would be great if the domains I host can chat.

I've already enabled the GAL and of course the XMPP services (only secured).

The following situation is at hand:
A user of domain y want to chat with a user of domain x.
User of domain x is visible in the Global List however, when clicking on the name a Server Error box appears:
Cannot create conversation user<_at_>domainx.bla

The otherway around works however the messages are not being received.

Please let me know if more information is necessary.
Kind regards,
Will

The contacts that users can chat with depend on the public folder settings on your server:

Unique public folders -- You can chat only with users from your own domain
Global public folders -- You can chat with all users from all domains on the server

ksnyder,

Thank you for your reply.
As said I enabled the GAL (in other words: Global public folders)

Kind regards,
Will

In that case, a call to Tech Support may be wise. If it's determined to be a bug, they'll file the issue as such for you.
