For several reasons we're using an external spam filter. It's acting as an SMTP proxy, forwarding all good email to Kerio Connect. Kerio Connect is only accepting email from our spam filter, so no direct connections to it are possible right now.

Now, we do have users who want to see spam emails in their "spam" folder instead of just dropping them at the spamfilter. Our spamfilter is able to do this but how can we forward a message to Kerio Connect and tell Kerio Connect to put it in the "Spam" folder?

Can we add some undocumented X-header to those emails or something? Or is there any other way we can do this?

We disabled all spam filtering options Kerio Connect because spam filtering is done at our external spam filter instead of Kerio Connect.

Thanks for your advice/tips!

Configure your SMTP proxy to add "X-Spam-Flag: YES" email header to spams.
