Hi,
i'm running version 9.1.1 (1433)


Big problem, i can't send any mails to gmail, all are stuck in queue with status "4.4.1 cannot connect to remote host" , in the warning section:

[17/Aug/2016 12:11:10] Cannot connect to SMTP server gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com. Messages will stay in the message queue.
[17/Aug/2016 12:11:31] Cannot connect to SMTP server alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com. Messages will stay in the message queue.
[17/Aug/2016 12:11:52] Cannot connect to SMTP server alt2.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com. Messages will stay in the message queue.
[17/Aug/2016 12:12:13] Cannot connect to SMTP server alt3.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com. Messages will stay in the message queue.
[17/Aug/2016 12:12:34] Cannot connect to SMTP server alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com. Messages will stay in the message queue

I've set a whitelist with the ip addresses of each SMTP server used by gmail. Can ping from the mail server in any of gmail servers.

I have no idea what to try next, and it's been a week since it's like these. Any other e-mail sent is instantly delivered.

You don't have to use a white list for the Google mail servers, that will not help at all.

On the Kerio server, open telnet and connect to a Google mail server on port 25.

telnet gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com 25

You should see something like

no such luck. if i should set anything in the kerio control please let me know. i've taken a look on other servers with kerio connect i manage, and can't seem to find anything different, and there are no problems.

OK, then you have a problem accessing the Google servers. It is not a problem with Kerio Connect itself but rather with your Firewall/DNS config.

Please do the following command

nslookup gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com

It should show something like:

pure chaos for the company to not be able to send to gmail.

It seems that this IP address is not responding to port 25.

Can you try the following

telnet 74.125.71.26 25

What do you get?

so.. telnet on ip seems to work, but after 10 minutes.. another message, see attachment.

The timeout is normal as the Gmail server is expecting the mail commands and times out if you don't send anything.

So what you could do as a workaround:

Put the following line in the hosts file on the Kerio Connect server:

74.125.71.26 gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com

Then, restart the Kerio Connect Service.

Then, go to the queue and Run the full queue. The messages should now be delivered.

This is just a workaround and you should remove that entry in the hosts file after some days.

You should contact Kerio support about this. It sounds to me that you have something configured incorrectly. You mentioned Kerio Control. What do you see in the Control logs when these emails are trying to go out?
