We are currently running on Kerio 8 and are planning to upgrade to Kerio 9. However due to other changes of our infrastructure, we also want to switch to another server for our productive environment.
Kerio 9 is already installed on the new server, but we have not yet registered the licence. Does the old server stop working as soon as we import our productive licence to the new server? Or would we need to register a new licence?
Also, after we registered the licence on the new server, can we just copy over all contents of /opt/kerio/mailserver/?

Ideally you should register for a 30 day trial license and register it on your new server. This way you can work on migrating the data and getting the new server setup without having to transfer your license. When you are ready to decommission the old server, you can register your existing license on the new system. To answer your question, your old server will continue to function even after you register the same license on your new server but you should not do this as it's a violation of our license agreement.
