Hi Guys,

I have noticed something interesting with adding calendar events directly from an email.

This is using the mail app that comes with osx, on latest version of El Capitan, and calDav, I have also tested with a differ mail app and same results (air mail).

so lets say I have two emails same domain and everything, we will call them test1@domain.com and test2<_at_>domain.com

Now both accounts also have calDav calendars setup with same credentials. test1@domain.com and test2<_at_>domain.com

So lets say test1@domain.com creates a calendar event with a 15 min prior alert setup and then sends an invite to test2<_at_>domain.com.

When test2@domain.com receives the email invite and double clicks on the calendar event to add to their calendar, it will add it with no issues, but it will not transfer over the alerts setup by test1<_at_>domain.com.

However if test2<_at_>domain.com just lets the calendar auto provision without clicking on the event in the email, the alerts do provision just fine.

And insight on what might be going on is greatly appreciated it.

Thank you,
Maciej

I am wondering if maybe I posted this in the wrong section, or if it would be better to use a paid case support ?

Thank you.

I guess you should start troubleshooting in Calendar app. When you click on an event in email, it is added to the calendar as new event and Kerio is not involved at all. Does it behave the same when you add the event to local calendar instead of CalDAV? What is the setting in Preferences - Alerts in Calendar app?
