Hi all o/

I manage a Kerio Connect server with ~10 domains, 355 users and a stack of mailing lists provided for mostly internal use. These mailing lists are, for example, allstaff<_at_>domain.com. Recently SPAM going to these lists has become more of an issue, so I want to restrict external 3rd parties being able to message these lists with the exception of a few external companies that send us daily reports.

I can't disable non-member posting without adding the external 3rd parties to the list. Constant daily moderation is a pain. And I can't add them to the list because then they will receive internal confidential mail.

Our firewall is useless at being able to filter these messages. I am strongly considering kicking it to the curb, but I digress.

I have also tested filtering these messages with the Kerio Message Filters, but it is picking up false positives (such as people with "all" in their name). As wildcards ? and * are not supported in message filters, I can't filter all*<_at_>mydomain.com.

We currently have Moderators and Members for mailing lists already. Boy, what I wouldn't do for a "Posters" list where i can add user@domain.tld or *<_at_>domain.tld to be allowed to message the list without moderation.

Has anyone else had this problem and have a suitable solution?
