Hello

I've got a task from another user. I use MS Outlook 2013 und the task creator MS Outlook 2010. Our current Kerio is 9.1.0.

The creator doesn't get the update when i make changes in the task and save them. Like changes in the text or percent of progress. It should be like in an appointment. You make changes on it and every participant automatically gets the update in his calendar.

Are we doing something wrong? What could be the problem?

I appreciate your help! Thanks Smile

Updates of delegated tasks are somewhat limited in Outlook:

Task must be assigned to one user only. Once the creator assigns the task to more users, no updates will be sent.

Task shouldn't be reassigned, i.e. you can't assign a task assigned to you to some other user. Although Outlook allows it, it is unreliable with Kerio Outlook Connector.

Task request must be sent to the delegate, not to some alias.

Creator address in the task must be same as sender address of the task request, so the creator mustn't use custom sender address.

All these conditions must be surely met to get task updates.

Hello

Thank your for answering.

So you're saying that Kerio doesn't support shared tasks? We didn't use delegations so far. Just normal user accounts.

Sorry, thinking faster than writing. Not talking about account delegation, just about delegated tasks. The sentence should be
"Task request must be sent to the assignee's own address, not to some alias."

Kerio doesn't support any form of task sharing. However you can assign (delegate) tasks in Outlook and Kerio Outlook Connector supports this feature. All described limitations (except of reassigning of delegated task) are in Outlook itself.
