I am pleased to announce that Kerio Operator 2.5.0 is now available. The new version brings interesting new features for both end users and administrators, as well as important updates in Operator's engine.

The key user experience feature is the Kerio Operator Softphone for Windows, Mac, Linux, and web. This interface was known as the Kerio Operator Client in 2.4 ad before. The Softphone allows users to make and receive voice and video calls, listen to voicemail, set up call forwarding, and check call history from a computer.

Administrator features include:
* MyKerio integration - manage, monitor and backup multiple deployments
* Several new phones supported in automatic provisioning: Ubiquiti and Htek are the new brands we now support. We also added several new Grandstream and Snom models.
* Asterisk engine has been updated to the current Long Term Support version, Asterisk 13.
* Improved deliverability of email notification messages.
* Significant performance improvements of the built-in web server.

IMPORTANT: Backups and Call Recording in Samepage has been discontinued. We recommend you update these settings to use MyKerio or a FTP server.

Please refer to the release notes for more information, or the change log.

There are two known issues in this release which we believe will be fixed soon:
- Automatic provisioning for Snom M3 and M9 can be less reliable (the base stations of these 2 older DECT phones are quite slow, and there is a timing issue)
- If a call rings on multiple devices and one of them accepts it, the other call legs can be sometimes logged in the call history as calls with the duration of 0 seconds. This appears to a be a feature of the new Asterisk 13 engine and we need to dig deeper in its code.

Enjoy Kerio Operator 2.5.0!
