Have a client who has a dial in info line, the thing is the message can change multiple times a day by someone who can't log into the admin panel and we don't want to have to help them change it all the time.

My first thought was to build an extension, but we don't want people to be able to leave a message.

Any ideas?

Do you need to select a message based on the time of the day? Or do you really need to change the content?

Each message would be new unique content: such as subject of upcoming talks and events, cancelation and changes to specific events, etc.

If it is a new content each time, you need to do it in the administration interface. There's no other method at this time.
