Since KC 9.1 there's actually no need for the OS X invite notification in environments where everybody shares their calendar with each other. Users tends to click "Yes" and get a overloaded Calendar.app and then panic. Very Happy
The shared calendar now gets automatically populated in Webmail/Calendar/People and whoever wants it can pick what calendars they want to see here and then choose to sync it to there client (e.g. Calendar). It also self-share when you are using av group for sharing and add a new user. Very nice.

Now; how can I disable the OS X notification for calendar sharing invite? Just the sharing invitation. The shared event should work as usual
