Hi there,

wie use different call pickup rooms:

Room 1 extensions: 10,14,16,20
Room 2 extensions: 41,42

we use the PBX Service for call pickup. (*9)

i need a PBX Service for each of that rooms, for example Room1 = *9, Room2 = *8

Is that possible with Operator 2.4.8?

Hi,

I'm afraid it is not possible. There is however a directed call pickup service (**), which you can use to pickup specific calls, even calls in a ring group. This service is often times used together with a BLF button.

Hi there,

thank you for your reply.

But ** in ring group is not working, if a user has 2 phones (10 and 10p1) and both phones are in that ring group.

I just tried it in Operator 2.5.0. I had 10 and 10p1 in a ring group, both extensions were registered. I called the ring group (20) and I was able to pick the call by dialing **20.

Hi there,

the other way:

10 and 10p1 in the same ringing group (for example 500) 20 is calling 500 and 21 calling **10

That also works fine for me. Was at least one of the extensions (10, 10p1) ringing?

it could be both situations, only one of them is ringing or both.

It always works for me. Can you send me a debug log capturing the situation?
1. Enable debug logs: asterisk, asterisk(detailed)
2. Make test call to demonstrate
3. Generate a support info file (link at the bottom of the system health screen)
4. Email export of the debug log + support info to fjenicek<_at_>kerio.com

Thanks
