Is it possible to limit the maximum number of IMAP connections? It seems to be 100, but I'd like to reduce it because of people deliberately abusing it.

Yes. It requires a change to the mailserver.cfg file. It cannot be done through the gui. I believe the line you are looking for is called "MaxConnectionsIP" but I could be wrong on that. Stop the server, change the setting, restart the server and you should be good to go.

Do the Outlook connectors use more than one IMAP connection per client? If so roughly how many?

Is there a way to not apply MaxConnections or MaxConnectionsIP to the local network or to particular mobile devices?
