Hi There,

We have a customer that is asking what protocol Kerio VPN uses for encrypting, sending and controlling data and control traffic.
Can anyone be kind and explain me/us what technology is behind Kerio VPN?
Thanks.

As described at http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-control/vpn/configuring-ke rio-vpn-server-1305.html Kerio VPN uses proprietary implementation of VPN using TCP and UDP on port 4090.
Kerio Control can also use standard IPSec VPN.
