Hello all,
at the moment we have a Kerio Connect 9.2.0 (2213) running on a Ubuntu 16.04
In the past the system was connected to a Apple Open Directory Server but that worked not so good so we changed to local Users a while ago.

Now I`m trying to connect the Server to a Samba 4 Active Directory but I get an error regarding missing active directory schema extensions:
Die Schemaerweiterungen wurden auf dem LDAP-Server nicht gefunden.
I installed the german version so this error is in german

I found a similar thread regarding schema extensions and successfully added the schema from this thread.
For futher testing purposes I downloaded the kerio VM appliance to check if the problem is on the samba or the kerio server.
With the kerio appliance and the extended schema I can connect to the samba server and browse for the Users in the AD even without configuring the kerberos krb5.conf or adding the server to the domain.
So far so good.

I think there are some modifications from the old setup with the Apple Open Directory left in the configs but I can`t find them.
Can anybody give me a hint where to look?

Best regards
Max
