Hi,

we often talk to customer with a bad telefone quality. This means I can hear the customer in a good quality, but the customer tells me, the sound quality is so bad, I should repeat the spoken words.

I often see lost packets. My standard codec on my phone is 722, fallback is 711-a law.

No packets loss on internal phone calls.

I will have some more tests with the x-lite client. With this, I do not have so much problems as with my alcatel Temporis IP700G.

Hi,

I recall some phones had problems with G.722, switch to G.711 and test it for some time.

If you need help, please contact our support team. They will need a packet dump capturing the whole call to identify the issue.

Hi,

when I look into the log file from Kerio Operator, I will always see a connection with 711-a law.

When I use a Yeahlink T48G or XLite I do have a much better statistic - e.g. 1 phone talk is bad from 100. Instead of the alcatel temporis IP700G. 1 phone talk is bad from 10 calls.

I will try to attach a pcap file from a bad phone talk.

Thanks in advance.

The alcatel guys are still not helpful with this issue.
