Hi,

I have download limits configured for all my users. I noticed that when windows updates start downloading on the user's computer he exceeds his download limit. It looks like the windows updates are using all the bandwidth that I have available and that the bandwidth limit is not working for windows updates. Seems like it is only Windows 10 updates that are causing the problem.

Is there anything else I can do to make sure the limit is enforced?

When you say "download limits", do you mean a bandwidth limitation, or do you mean that the users have daily/weekly/monthly traffic quotas?

The order of your Bandwidth Management rules is important. Do you have a screen-shot that you can share? It's possible that another bandwidth rule ABOVE the one you've configured is being evaluated first and is allowing the traffic through without limitation.

You can see for sure which rule is being applied by trying the Windows Update while viewing the Status-->Active Connections report or the Status-->Active Hosts-->Connections tab. Be sure that the "Bandwidth Management Rule" column is visible.

I mean bandwidth limitation. I checked the bandwidth rules and it is using the correct rule. I only have bandwidth limit rules for users. It works perfect for everything except windows 10 updates.

It sounds like this is worth a call to Kerio Tech Support. They can determine if the feature is working properly or not and initiate any necessary corrective measures.
