For users coming via our corporate firewall login, we have used a nasty little trick to log them in easily: I have placed a custom php script in a new subfolder in the web server part of KerioConnect. This little php script showed a custom login form and submitted to the URL of the standard KC form.
Worked like a charm, and I did not need to run a separate web server.

However, after upgrading to KC 9.x, the php script is no longer executed. Instead, it is transferred to the browser as-is (like it would be a txt file).

Hm. I know this was not supported, but it used to work so nicely. The new webmail seems to be all js (no php files around at all). Does anyone have a hint for me? (Other than running and maintaining a separate web server just for this one little script...)

(Yes, I do admit it is a good idea to disable old functionality that is no longer needed. But still...)

There is no more PHP in Kerio Connect. Based on what your script was doing it sounds like you don't need to use PHP. Was there some server side processing in your script?

Ah, I see. Probably good for security.

Yes, there was.
The script created username/password based on data it gets from the firewall where users have logged into (it is a kind of hand-crafted Single Sign-On).

Since the script manipulates passwords, I do not want to do this in js on the client side.

Well, it is not a fault of Kerio; it was just me abusing KC Smile
